There are very few armagnac vintages from the 1950s available. This is a very good armagnac that has been in an oak barrel for a very long time and benefitted from its maturation.

- Aroma:
- Vanilla, butter, pine, orange, prune, toffee and biscuit.
- Distillation:
- Distilled at around 57 - 60 degrees. Lower than other brandies, providing greater wine flavours but less refinement than cognacs
- Flavour:
- Well balanced and mellow with citrus flavours, especially orange.
- Grape Variety:
- Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco
- Reduction & Strength:
- Delord minimise their dilutions wherever possible, but all of their armagnacs are bottled at 40% abv.
- Viticulture:
- The soil comprises rough clay and limestone with some sand.
