Delord’s 42 hectare vineyard is located in the commune of Lannepax in Bas Armagnac. It comprises four of the traditional Armagnac grape varieties; Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Baco and Folle Blanche and supplies vintages from the start of the twentieth century to the start of the twenty first century.

- Aroma:
- Woody aromas with vanilla, pepper and tobacco
- Ageing:
- Aged in damp cellars.
- Distillation:
- Distilled at around 54-58 degrees. Lower than other brandies, providing greater wine flavours but less refinement than cognacs.
- Flavour:
- Nuts and almonds with quince paste and notes of clove.

- Viticulture:
- The climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes.
