Thought to originate from the Goudoulin’s family armagnac house which was founded in 1935 at Courrensan (Gers) in the east of the top cru, Bas Armagnac. This farmhouse style armagnac was produced from grapes harvested in 1953 and distilled on a continuous still. This very rare 1953 Bas Armagnac vintage will be fruity in flavour and aromatic on the nose. Long ageing in wood will also produce a smooth, mellow finish.
