A little piece of Hermitage bliss, this complex cognac has many charming and attractive qualities. Mature, yet youthful and light, there are flavours of wild cherry, mangosteen, toast, muscat, dried fig, allspice and even a hint of turmeric on the tail.

- Aroma:
- Toffee and toast aromas on the nose but also sandalwood, honeysuckle and wild cherry.
- Ageing:
- 350 litre casks, first in new and then in old Limousin oak casks.
- Flavour:
- Wild cherry, mangosteen, toast, muscat, dried fig, allspice and even a hint of turmeric on the tail.
- Grape Variety:
- Ugni Blanc but possibly Folle Blanche too.
- Reduction & Strength:
- Some reduction has taken place to create its remarkably good balance and flavour.
- Viticulture:
- The land here is flatter that that of Grande Champagne and the chalk is slightly less porous.
