- This is a very light coloured cognac which was almost certainly aged initially in new oak for a short period of between 4 – 6 months before being transferred to old oak casks.
- Distillation:
- Medium sized still.
- Flavour:
- Roasted hazelnuts with brioche and a hint of lime. Develops with banana, blueberries and a hint of strawberries with the zest of lime influencing the tail.
- Grape Variety:
- Ugni Blanc but possibly Folle Blanche too.
- Reduction & Strength:
- This has been reduced about 4% to provide better balance characteristics.
- Viticulture:
- The land here is flatter that that of Grande Champagne and the chalk is slightly less porous.
