- Single distillation at around 58 – 60 degrees. This provides more complex aromas and taste
- Flavour:
- Well balanced with a light shade of vanilla. Dusty oak and earthy notes follow citrus and caramel.
- Grape Variety:
- Mainly Colombard.
- Reduction & Strength:
- Limited reduction with distilled water
- Viticulture:
- The climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes
