This is produced by the oldest trading House of Armagnac, established in 1832. Light and easy on the nose , the prune flavour is in abundance.

- Light and easy on the nose. Finely wooded with a hint of dried prunes.
- Ageing:
- The Castarede cellars are next to the Baise ensuring that they are always damp and providing the best conditions for these fine armagnacs.
- Distillation:
- Traditional armagnac distillation at around 58 – 60 degrees providing more complex aromas and taste
- Flavour:
- Round and long with flavours of light prunes and an almond tail.
- Grape Variety:
- Colombard, Folle Blanche and sometimes Ugni Blanc

- The climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes
