Castarède’s vintage armagnacs are all based on Baco and some Ugni Blanc grapes. They have fruit and earthy tones reminiscent of the rural landscape of southwest France. This 1984 vintage was bottled in January 2019 so it has aged for 35 years.

- Ageing:
- All Castarede armagnacs are well aged in oak casks to provide the maximum tannins. The cellars are next to the Baise ensuring that they are always damp and providing the best conditions for these fine armagnacs.

- Single distillation at around 58 – 60 degrees providing more complex aromas and taste
- Flavour:
- Dried peach, dried pear, dried orange, touches of lemon cream and hints of nutmeg, sweet spices and vanilla.
