Distilled 70 years ago, 1947 cognac is proving to be a rare vintage. Aged for many years in barrels, this Hermitage 1947 Cognac has developed a good rancio. With flavours of sweet spices, ripe medlars, muscat grapes, ripe plums and cocoa, this superbly balanced cognac won’t be around for long.

- An intensely rich aroma of fallen medlars, cloves, cinnamon, muscat, lime, cocoa, truffle and plum.
- Ageing:
- Aged for many years in oak barrels.
- Distillation:
- Traditional Charentaise distillation.
- Flavour:
- Sweet spices, ripe medlars, muscat grapes, ripe plums and cocoa with hints of pineapple and lime towards the end. Rich and long lasting raisin finish with good rancio and superb balance.
