This farmhouse style armagnac was produced from grapes harvested in 1954 and distilled on a continuous still. Les Comtes de Cadignan 1954 Bas Armagnac is thought to originate from the Goudoulin’s family armagnac house which was founded in the east of the top cru, Bas Armagnac, in 1935 at Courrensan. This 1954 Bas Armagnac vintage is rare. It will be fruity in flavour and aromatic on the nose. Long ageing in wood will also produce a smooth, mellow finish.
