Crème de Pêche is best drunk as an aperitif, over ice, or mixed with a sparkling wine to make a ‘bellini’. This liqueur is made by macerating vine peaches in alcohol and then adding sugar syrup. The small, purple, white peach is delicious and full of flavour and often planted amongst the vines. They mature in September, at the same time as the grapes, which gives rise to its name ‘Pêche de Vignes’.
